Hey there! Fan from Tejas here!

First of all, I absolutely love your new show, but when are you going to do another episode of VendorTV? I missing the weekly exploration of America’s curbside cuisine. I’ve had the fantastic opportunity of sampling the fare of Flip Happy Crepes (Austin, TX) for myself and I would not have found it without your show! What a great lunchtime experience, thank you!

Anyway, I have a few food suggestions for WTF. 1) mole, not the rodent but as in the kind of meat dish you see in Mexican restaurants (2) black truffle or morrel mushrooms and/or (3) Rocky Mountain Oysters and other organ meats.

Best of luck with the show(s)!

Thanks Lindsay! I’ll be releasing more VendrTV episodes, just a bit slower than before. So stay tuned! And thanks much for these suggestions. They’re all great, and I’ll be sure to cover them each!

our family deep fried it or even make soup with this, we just cut it in big chunks and cook in chicken broth, sooo good!

    • Dan says:

Sounds delicious Carol! I’ll give that a go sometime! Always interesting hearing how different folks and families have their traditions. Thanks for watching!

Going through the grocery store yesterday I was looking for new foods to ask you about, Dan, and I came upon elephant garlic. I’ve seen it for years and haven’t thought about it. Is it different in taste than the regular garlic or is it just bigger? Thanks! I love your podcast on iTunes and am trying to branch out and buy new foods thanks to you!

Thanks again Dan, this video made my day ;)
