Thanks Daniel! This is great! Love the pancake and popover imagery…haha. Looks like the aebleskiver came out perfectly round, you’re a pro!
If I didn’t already love Aunt Else’s Aebleskiver, this would get me going! I thought that was chocolate on top of your ‘skivers but apple butter sounds even better.
Yum Tracy! Sounds great.
OHHH YEAAA!!! I have got to try this it looks amazing
thanks a bunch Daniel
What? It’s not Danish magic?
Great video, and GREAT aebleskiver!! Love these things! Don’t forget the whipped cream!
Good call! Better go buy some cream for the next batch.
Love Aunt Else’s Aebleskiver! My family especially likes the savory ones- cheesy bacon-YUM! And the kit makes it super easy to make. It’s our go-to when we run out of ideas for dinner, we start with some savory and finish up with a dessert one.
Wow Dana! Skiber for dinner – who’d a thunk it! Great suggestion, thanks for watching my show.
We love LOVE Aunt Else’s Aebleskiver on Sat. mornings!
Wow Zoie! Every Saturday morning? Can I join your family?
Oh man. These are sooo good. You can really do so much with them. Apples are awesome but get creative. Bacon and chocolate or ham and cheese are both favorites of mine. Thanks for an awesome WTF, Daniel!
GOOD CALL JOSH! Wow, never thought about making savory ones, but the mix is so versatile, I’m sure it would go over brilliantly!
Wow.. I’ve tried other aebleskiver mixes before, but the Aunt Else’s mix is probably the best I’ve ever tasted! Thanks for sharing!!
Yea! It certainly was delicious. Thanks for watching the show. Please visit the show in iTunes and leave us a comment as well. http://itun.es/iFw62Y
I love aebelskivers! My favorite are with a chunck of peach. I cut up my peaches and put a little cinnamon and nutmeg on them. Then one chunck of peach into the aebelskivers. Yummy!
Wow Denise! That sounds delicious. I’ll have to try that when peaches come in season!
OMG these look AMAZING. I’m going to order a pan right now. Yummy!
Sweet! Tell them WTF sent ya!
Thanks for the video! Loved it! Going to make some tonight for Valentine’s with mini chocolate chips in the center! :0)
Good call! Maybe whip up some cream with a hint of pink food colouring!
Love this video…once you get the hang, these are so fun to make. Nice idea putting the apple butter on top!
Thanks Emily! Would love to talk to you about getting Foodzie involved! Will drop you an email tomorrow.
Happy V-Day!
I love me some aebleskivers. My favorites are the more savory ones. Maybe some cheddar and bacon in the middle. Oh man, I’m hungry.
A lot of folks have been suggesting that! I’m going to make them like that right now.
You can’t go wrong with a little nutella in the center of your skivers! And ham & cream cheese is a fave too!
Yum! Sounds delicious. I’ll be making it for breakfast today.
After eating hundreds of skivers we can say with confidence, they’re always delicious! There’s always a new, creative, seasonal filling option coming from Aunt Else’s booth at Mill City Farmers Market. Yum!
Wow! A skiver-meister in the house!
Thanks for checking out the video.
Ha! I want all my food explained as a “love baby” between two other items! Nice history. I’m in!
I wish all of my foods were love babies Lucie. I really do.
Aunt Else ‘skivers rock! We made ours with apricots and tangelo.
Good call! I’ll have to give that a go sometime soon. Thanks for watching my episode!
I’ve had ‘em, and they are fantastic! they are a great treat for kids and friends that have never tried them.
Maybe I’ll whip up a batch at my next dinner party!
Great segment! I love Aunt Ele’s!
Glad you got to see the episode, and that you’re a fan!
Thanks for sharing all the info on these delicious sweets! (I’ve had them with blueberries and they are YUMMO!) I was really hoping to see some Danish magic, tho — it’s been so long …

These look awesome, I think they would go great with an bacon!
I heart Aebleskivers
Thanks Packmasterflash! I heart you!
WOW,…tasty, tasty, tasty looking goodies!!! I licked the screen, but couldn’t taste them,…so I had to rely on my memory of eating them,…so, so, so good!!!
HAHA! NOM NOM SCREEN!
Dude, you have to try these tasty skivers!! Throw some pepper jelly and powered sugar on top and you’re in for a real treat.
Nice Michael! Do you mean something like a Jalepeño Jelly?
These things are so fun for the kids – you can load the middle with all sorts of goodies. It has become a Saturday morning tradition in my house. Great video.
Thanks Dutch! Glad you like the video – lucky kids you’ve got there.
I’m want to go make some right now.
If you have that luxury Steve, I say go for it! In fact, maybe I’ll do the same.
Very interesting. This looks like it would be a good dessert!
Yup! Good dessert, also a great lunch or dinner item, as you can make them savory.
Wow! Those look delicious! Cool story too.
Thanks Brian! They’re really tasty. Have you made them before?
Looks delicious as always.
Thanks Kristy! Have you made them before?
Looks delicious!
They are! Have you made them before?
Looks easy and yummy. Our kids love them.
Oh yea!? What do you put in them Andrea?

Great presentation! You’ve got me inticed to try a new breakfast idea. My kids are going to love the
Aebleskiver.
Thanks Aunt Else’s!
Love aebleskivers! So easy to make, so hard to spell.
Haha yea!
These are so much fun to make and eat. I prefer the savory ones but many like the ones filled with chocolate and fun fruits. You can be creative! Fun gift too.
Yum! What’s your favorite filling?
Looks mighty tasty!
That they are!
My favorite is to put in our homemade turkey breakfast sausage in the middle when we are up @ the lake. Delish!
Yum! Sounds amazing. What kind of sausage?
these aebleskivers look wonderful………cannot wait to try them. Thanks for featuring them.
They are great. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
Wow that is great. I love pancakes and to put apples in them is even better!!! Like your video:<)
Excellent videos Dan! I got your link from Eric at Gardenfork. Here is just a fun note about æbleskiver: I’m Danish and about every other year or so either my Danish mother or I get an æbleskiver pan for a gift. Everyone expects us to make the round cakes for them and we can’t stand it. No one in our Danish family really likes to make or eat them…we’d all rather have an American short stack. Redde os fra æbleskiver! LOL!
Haha! That’s crazy. Get pigeonholed and labeled as being GREAT at making anything, and that’s all folks will want you to make! People didn’t know I cooked anything but BBQ before this show.
These are so good. There’s a chef on the Foodnetwork that calls them “evil ‘skivers” because they are so good! I think he’s right.
Haha! I can see that! They are damn tasty.
Thanks Beth!
OMG, these are absolutely adorable!!! But, now, I have no idea where to buy that pan???
Thanks for great recipes and I am really sorry that I haven’t discovered you earlier
Greetings from Kuwait!
Haha – Yup, they’re tasty and really cute. You can get the pan from the episode’s sponsor, http://auntelses.com
Hey Dan, thank you very much!
Of course!
